Pastor’s page

“When there is a call for service, stand up and be counted.”
Pastor Isaac Catampatan lives by this motto, which reflects his commitment to serving others and answering God’s call to spread the message of hope and salvation found in Christ. He leads with a heart, guiding his church and community toward spiritual growth and transformation.
Born and raised in the Philippines, he grew up in an Adventist family, where he was introduced to the teachings of Christ at an early age. His foundation of faith was strong, but as he grew older, he faced personal challenges and struggles with rebellion. It was through two life-changing vehicular accidents that nearly took his life that he experienced a powerful spiritual awakening, bringing him back to his faith.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy of Religion, a Bachelor of Theology, and a Bachelor of Elementary Education. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Andrews University. His educational background equips him with practical and theological tools to lead with wisdom and insight.
As an ordained pastor, Pastor Isaac has rich experience in various ministry roles. He has served as a Literature Evangelist, Church Planter, District Pastor, Bible Teacher, and School Chaplain under the Central Luzon Conference. His ministry has always been rooted in discipleship, evangelism, and community outreach. He served as the Director of the Pathfinder Club for the Adventist University of the Philippines, where he mentored young people and guided them in their spiritual development. Additionally, he has actively participated in prison ministry, providing values formation and spiritual growth opportunities to incarcerated individuals.
He has launched several innovative outreach initiatives. One of his ministries, the “Hanap Patay Ministry,” allows him to share the message of hope at funeral services, offering comfort to grieving families, even those outside the Adventist faith. Another creative ministry is the “Trompa Ministry,” where he broadcasts praise songs and evangelistic messages through a trompa (horn) to reach people in the local community. He later became a radio broadcaster for the program Tinig ng Pag-asa (Voice of Hope), where he shared biblical principles on healthy living, family values, and spiritual nurture.
Pastor Isaac’s ministry is rooted in his belief in the transformative power of God’s grace. He believes that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, can experience redemption and renewal through a relationship with Christ. Pastor Isaac’s approach to ministry is centered around making God’s love accessible to all, especially through unconventional outreach methods. His core spiritual values include discipleship, evangelism, and service, and he strives to lead with humility and compassion.
He has served as one of the preachers for PNG for Christ, a major event in Papua New Guinea that brought together believers to spread the Gospel.
Pastor Isaac and his wife, Roselle, share a deep passion for serving people and spreading God’s love. As an educator with a heart for nurturing young minds, Roselle uses her classroom as an environment where learners can experience the love of Jesus and grow in their understanding of Him. Together with their daughter, Celestine Faith, they are a team.
